Mutual aid

We are working to build a community where mutual aid is part of our everyday lives. Mutual aid is the practice of people coming together to meet each other’s needs, recognizing that the systems we live under don’t support us—and that we don’t have to wait for them to change in order to take care of one another.

This is something we are actively figuring out together. Through our tool lending library, skill-sharing, and cooperative land stewardship, we are creating ways to share resources, labor, and knowledge. We don’t have a perfect system, but we are committed to practicing and strengthening mutual aid in ways that make sense for our community.

By showing up for each other, we reject the idea that we should struggle alone and instead work toward a future where care and support are freely given. This is a process that takes time, trust, and participation from all of us.

If you want to borrow tools, share skills, or offer support in other ways, we’d love for you to be part of it. Mutual aid is a work in progress, and we all have something to contribute.
